My boyfriend and I are both from MD and have been wanting to ship crabs to Denver for about four years now. We finally decided to do it this summer. After researching a lot, we thought it was most affordable and convenient to ship them steamed from Linton's. They turned out to be soooo good! We decided to re-steam them, a half dozen at a time, for 6 minutes just to warm them up and it worked beautifully! We will definitely make this a yearly tradition. Thanks Linton's!
Have ordered for years, spending quite a bit of $$, then an order arrived with NO SEASONING. Called them up they actually asked if the seasoning was on the bottom of the box?. Really! You steam the crabs in the seasoning and these arrived completely naked. The customer service was ridiculously poor, they didn't care at all offering to send me some bay seasoning to put on the crabs...DUH that is not the point. While I understand mistakes happen their approach was horrible and devoid of any customer service or even caring about the mistake!, NEVER AGAIN
Ordered a dozen steamed crabs shipped to rural NC for a birthday. We (both exiled Baltimoreans) were both absolutely impressed with the crabs, the shipping, and the whole experience. Who thought you could get Maryland-style blue crabs in the mountains of North Carolina? We will definitely order from Linton's again. If you're hoping for Saturday delivery but live in a rural area far from a FedEx terminal, you'll have to get them delivered on Friday--but the package is well sealed and everything will be fine for a Saturday feast.
My order was spoiled rotten on arrival. Have been trying for over a month to get a refund. Have sent multiple private emails providing all the the requisite information. No response at all. Have attempted to reach out via social media, and the only reply I get is "call us." Not sufficient. Avoid this business.
What an experience, After enjoying a day of mud racing down the street at the local Elks Lodge, we swing in and had collosal crabs and corn, Top notch
