My husband and I went over for the weekend and stayed at a Bed and Breakfast with a queen bed and private bathroom and shower in room and included was dinner and breakfast. I am 66 years old and it was the most relaxing time in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay with no cell phones or TV. We just relaxed, ate, read and enjoyed each other. We rented a golf cart and rode all over the island, went to all their gift shops, talked to the locals there who were very friendly. To get there you either go by boat or air. It was a great cruise to Tangier Island. The boat is 90 feet long and very comfortable. We will do this trip every year at least once.
This is my 4th visit to Tangier. I have loved it from the very first visit. This time I am staying overnight. My ultimate dream is to one day live there.
After filling up on jumbo crabs, at the Crab Place, we were ready for the Cruise to Tangier Island .Music pumping people dancing and having a good time while enjoying the breeze off the Chesapeake.
